Dahlgren Capital successfully held its first Kapitalmarknadsdag on 22 October 2025 at IVA Conference Center in Stockholm, marking a milestone event that brought together investors, portfolio company founders, and leading voices in the investment and technology sectors.

The day opened with Peter Dahlgren, Founder and CEO of Dahlgren Capital, sharing the company's investment philosophy in times of change and the firm's approach to long-term value creation through conviction, active ownership, and strategic people development.

Klas Eklund, Chief Strategist at Dahlgren Capital, delivered sharp insights into megatrends shaping the global economy, setting the stage for discussions on how these shifts impact investment strategies and portfolio company growth.

The event featured presentations from Dahlgren Capital's portfolio companies, showcasing innovation across AI, cybersecurity, blockchain/DLT, and digital transformation:

  • Mattias Kellquist, CEO of Phyron AI
  • Marius Brekke, CEO of Kommando
  • Malin Blomberg, CEO of Zimply

Louise Sander, Board member, moderated the day and introduced the firm's investment verticals, providing context for how Dahlgren Capital identifies and supports companies riding long-term trends in digitalization, AI, medtech, blockchain technology, and cybersecurity.

Panel Discussion
A highlight of the morning was a panel discussion featuring Peter Norman (Chairman, Dahlgren Capital), Cecilia Skingsley, and Louise Sander, exploring opportunities and risks within megatrends and their implications for investors and businesses.

Peter Dahlgren closed the event with a striking reminder about Sweden's economic positioning from 4th place globally in GDP per capita in 1972 to 17th place in 2025 - emphasizing the critical role investors and entrepreneurs must play in reversing this trend and driving innovation-led growth.

Networking and Engagement
The event featured networking powered by Mingla, an active engagement platform, culminating in a mingeltävling (networking competition) that energized participants throughout the day.

"The energy and quality of conversations throughout the day reinforced why we focus on active ownership and long-term partnerships with exceptional founders," said Peter Dahlgren. "This is the first of many Kapitalmarknadsdagar to come."

The event also included participation from additional portfolio company leaders: Tobias Sjölander (EasyFill Group), Jesper Ejdling Martell (Comintelli), Anna Engholm (Motion Display), Kent Stenberg (Lyckegård Group), Pernilla Ullsten (Westpay), Fredric Andersén (House of Reach), Christian Jansson (Rewind), Frida Rönnlund (Yniq Eyewear), and Mads Fiig (Brainreader).
