Dahlgren Capital Becomes New Owner in Wise Group

Dahlgren Capital, through Dahlgren Capital Active Equity AB (“Dcap Active Equity”), is investing SEK 19 million in Wise Group (publ) through a directed share issue. Following the completed transaction, the ownership stake amounts to approximately 17 percent. The announcement is made in connection with Wise Group's year-end report.

The investment aligns with Dcap Active Equity’s strategy of being an active and long-term owner in listed companies with clear development potential, a strong market position, and opportunities for structural value growth.

“For us, this is a clear Active Equity case. Wise has an established position in a fragmented and long-term growing market. With the right capital structure, operational sharpness, and increased technological focus, we see strong opportunities to combine growth with improved profitability. The ambition is for Wise to become the obvious partner for HR, where talent supply, advisory services, and technology are integrated,” says Peter Dahlgren, CEO and founder of Dahlgren Capital.

Within the Dahlgren Capital group, strategic investments are made in AI and related technology areas. Existing portfolio companies within AI, along with experience from these initiatives, can help streamline processes, strengthen decision-making, and further develop Wise Group’s offering.

“We see clear opportunities for synergies within the group, where AI expertise can contribute to increased efficiency, stronger margins, and a more scalable business. Our ambition is to be an active partner in a development where business strategy, technology, and clear direction together drive long-term value creation,” concludes Peter Dahlgren.

Dcap Active Equity has previously invested in Westpay, EasyFill, Motion Display (acquired), Comintelli (public takeover offer), and Lyckegård Group. The fund’s value development amounts to approximately +80 percent over the past year.
